onHoliday Takes a Seasonal Approach
onHoliday Takes a Seasonal Approach
The September
issue of onHoliday will feature the first issue in a new
seasonal approach for the magazine. Moving from six to four
issues a year enables a focus on seasonal travel within a
quarterly publication.
Fairfax Magazines General Manager Lynley Belton says the change to quarterly was driven by reader feedback.
“Seasonal travel is important to our readers and with spring, summer, autumn and winter issues the magazine can better deliver on that.”
“As New Zealand’s leading travel magazine, onHoliday will continue to be indispensable when thinking holidays,” says Lynley.
The focus on inspiring holidays at home and away will remain, with an emphasis on the Pacific. From September an expanded travel news section will contain all the ‘must know’ travel news and the eating out and recipe information will be strongly linked to the destination featured.
The next issue is on sale from today and will be followed by the first seasonal, ‘spring’ issue in September. The September issue is priced at $7.50, down from $8.95.
