New Senior Art Director for TBWA\Whybin
Monday, 24th July, 2006: David Walden, Group CEO for TBWA\Whybin today announced the appointment of Corey Chalmers as Senior Art Director at the agency.
Internationally acclaimed Chalmers will partner with Deputy Creative Director Chris Swift on a variety of the agency’s high-profile accounts.
Chalmers is no stranger to the TBWA\ network, having worked previously for TBWA\GGT in London. He started his career with O&M in Wellington and joins TBWA\Whybin fresh from M&C Saatchi, Auckland. Whilst there he worked on Qantas, ANZ and DB Breweries, amongst other brands, and has AXIS, Caxton and Clio awards under his belt for his efforts.
“We’re thrilled to have Corey joining us. He’s the perfect partner for Swifty and together they’ll be a really strong senior creative team,” says David Walden.
“It’s been an outstanding six months for the agency and our creative reputation has never been higher, thanks to a swag of high profile accolades at practically every advertising awards ceremony around the world. But we’re not resting on our laurels; we want to push the bar higher. Corey’s appointment is another step towards us realising our potential. I’m confident that under the guidance of Group CD, Andy Blood, he’ll add another exciting new dimension to our creative offering,” he adds.
