Bluestone Appoints New Head


Specialist lender, Bluestone Group has appointed executive, Mr Terry Zouch, as General Manager New Zealand for Bluestone Mortgages.

Terry joins the Bluestone Group after a successful 29 year career with ASB. Over the past six years, Terry has held executive positions as regional manager counties and North Harbour in addition to senior management positions in the retail network. Terry brings strong leadership and management skills to his new role and has extensive retail experience in the banking and financial services industry.

Terry will work closely with executive management both in New Zealand and Australia to further strengthen the Bluestone Group and the Bluestone brand in New Zealand.

Terry takes over from Peter Wood, who is moving to Australia with Bluestone to assist in developing greenfield opportunities.

Alistair Jeffery, CEO of Bluestone Group, said that Peter had made a valuable contribution in establishing Bluestone as a leading provider of specialist financial products in the New Zealand market.

“Peter has headed the New Zealand business since its inception in December 2002, building it to be a key contributor to the Group including spearheading three securitisations managed by publicly listed Sapphire Securities Limited ,” he said.

Bluestone employs 35 staff in New Zealand and has originated over $350 million in residential mortgages.
