New Chair for GP Leaders Forum
Rotorua GP Dr Bev O’Keefe is the new Chair of the General Practice Leaders Forum (GPLF) from today. She takes over from Dr Peter Foley, who held the position from when the GPLF was formed in April 2005.
Dr O’Keefe is Deputy Chair and Chair-Elect of the Independent Practitioners Association Council (IPAC). Dr Foley chairs the NZMA’s GP Council.
The GPLF comprises the chairs and CEOs of the GP Council of the NZMA, IPAC, the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and the Rural General Practice Network. It advocates on issues of concern to the General Practice sector.
