Faster, easier and cheaper hotel bookings
Faster, easier and cheaper hotel bookings for HANZ
members
Booking hotel accommodation just became quicker, easier and more cost effective, thanks to a new industry initiative from the Hospitality Association of New Zealand (HANZ).
HANZ members can expect an increase in guest numbers and lower commissions with the announcement of an agreement between the Association and ‘In 1 Solutions Ltd’ – a successful booking system in the highly competitive Irish accommodation sector.
HANZ chief executive Bruce Robertson says members will now have their hotels exposed to the vast Northern Hemisphere market, with no upfront costs or ongoing charges and a competitively low commission rate. The new system provides a marketing mechanism available online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“It will drive more visitors to the hotel’s website, their rates and room availability will show up almost immediately, and the practice of selling rooms because of a distressed inventory will all but disappear,” Mr Robertson says.
The new initiative was launched today by HANZ President Bill McLean and In 1 Solutions commercial director Victor Garland, from Ireland, at the HANZ annual conference in Queenstown.
