Text Book Real Estate Puts Agents On Solid Ground

Legal publisher Brookers and the Real Estate Institute of NZ have jointly published two books for New Zealand real estate agents.

One book reproduces relevant Acts, Regulations and Rules, while the second is a plain English guide to legal, compliance and ethical issues.

REINZ is now organising distribution and promotion of the books to real estate agents around New Zealand.

Brookers has been part of New Zealand’s publishing industry since 1910. It is New Zealand’s biggest legislation publisher and has developed considerable expertise in customising and interpreting legislation for use by businesses and organisations.

Brookers’ BusinessWise series of compliance and legislative guides are designed specifically for NZ business owners and managers. The BusinessWise series is often customised and developed in partnership with organisations, such as REINZ, to meet their specific needs for information on the law.

Brookers Managing Director, Neil Story, says Brookers is delighted with the REINZ publications, which he said provided significantly improved compliance capabilities in a practical application environment.

“We were able to bring our customised publishing expertise to the table and the REINZ complemented this by identifying the information needed by their members. This was a real partnership, and we have both produced something which will enhance the legal knowledge and understanding of New Zealand’s real estate industry,” Mr Story said.
