Ace Insurance Makes Two New Underwriting Appointments

Auckland – 3 November 2006 – ACE Insurance, a leader in the global insurance and reinsurance industry, has made two new appointments to its underwriting team.

Mark Downes has been appointed New Zealand Casualty Manager. Mark worked for ACE Insurance in New Zealand from 1999 to 2004. He then moved to London, where he has been working for ACE Europe in the International Casualty team. Mark will relocate back to New Zealand in January 2007 and will start with us in early February.

Stephen Burt has been appointed Property Underwriter. He was most recently an insurance broker at Willis. Prior to this he held underwriting positions at insurance companies in New Zealand and Australia. He joins the team on 6 November.
