Final Reminder For International Mail
The deadline for getting international mail to friends and family overseas is coming up says New Zealand Post.
Customers have until Monday December 11 for sending mail and parcels to Australia and the South Pacific, and until Monday December 4 for the rest of the world.
International Express deadlines are later. Monday December 18 is the deadline for Australia and the South Pacific, while Wednesday December 13 is the cut off date for the rest of the world.
Tuesday December 19 is the deadline for Standard Post for parcels and letters within New Zealand, and Thursday 21 December is the FastPost cut off date.
New Zealand Post is also offering a set of six 45c stamps, a matching set of six Christmas cards and six envelopes for just $7.50. The stamps and cards are the result of New Zealand Post's Design a Stamp competition held earlier this year. Schoolchildren were asked to produce art based on the theme 'what Christmas means to me'. These can be purchased online at www.nzpost.co.nz/stamps or from any New Zealand PostShop.
