New InterCity Link service connecting Lower North Island
InterCity Link is making the Lower North Island more accessible to travellers from Monday, adding two new services Monday to Friday between Palmerston North and Napier.
The new InterCity Link service from Napier to Palmerston North will leave from Napier Travel Centre at 7.10am and arrive in Palmerston North, on the corner of Pitt and Main Streets at 9.40am. The service from Palmerston North will leave at 6.00pm arriving in Napier at 8.30pm. The standard one-way fare is only $19.
Sales and Marketing Manager for InterCity Group Limited, Daniel Rode, said InterCity Link has been a great success in linking regional New Zealand with the greater InterCity Group network and consequently this service is being expanded.
"This is an extension of a successful trial of InterCity Link undertaken during the past 12 months between Hamilton and Tauranga. We will be rolling out more services across the country in the coming months," he said.
The
new InterCity Link service can be booked through more than
600 agents across the country. Check out www.intercity.co.nz
