NEW ZEALAND, Wednesday, 10 January: Cognition Consulting Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Multi Serve Education Trust, has been awarded the Ministry of Education Arts Online portal contract, which is a key professional resource for all arts educators in primary and secondary schools throughout New Zealand.

"We've demonstrated expertise and experience through the our ongoing development of the TKI bilingual portal and web community, which provides quality assured educational material for teachers, school managers and the wider education community," he says. Dr Coogan also directs other highly successful online communities, including English and ESOL Online.

"The arts are such an exciting area of development in New Zealand and we see the Arts Online as being pivotal to that growth. We envisage not only educators but artists and students benefitting from the community networking features which will be an important part of the development of the site," he adds.

The Arts Online portal is a 'one-stop-shop' for primary and secondary schools and currently features an array of teaching resources that can be used in classrooms as well as case studies, discussion groups, news updates and event information.
