Managing Mobile costs a breeze with Vodafone spendManager
Taking the hassle out of managing mobile costs and the associated savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars are two key turn-ons driving major New Zealand businesses to adopt Vodafone spendManager, an end-to-end expense management system.
A new generation tool to manage mobile office solutions, Vodafone spendManager offers companies a comprehensive set of tools to effectively and easily control and administer the direct and indirect costs associated with large groups of mobile users.
“More and more companies are now recognising that mobile expenses are a standard business expense; stand alone analytics tools are no longer enough to manage what can be a very complex back-end,” says Vodafone General Manager of Products and Services, Kursten Shalfoon. “Vodafone spendManager can also save companies a potentially huge sum of money by taking administrative head hours out of the equation.”
Easily interfacing with ERP systems, Vodafone spendManager is a true expense management system unlike traditional bill analytics solutions, and allows for rules to be established within the system to identify call types such as 0900 and TXT2park numbers to adhere to corporate mobile spend policies.
Vodafone spendManager packages allow each business to select whatever is best for their business. The Vodafone spendManager suite gives you access to the following functionality;
Hierarchy Management – configured to reflect your company hierarchy and allows all mobile users to log-in and manage their devices. Users are able to; View online statements Manage phone books Assign calls as personal or business Run reports on their own, or their team’s usage
Workflow Module – automatically routes transactions for approval according to pre-determined rules and exceptions. Rules can be based on days of the week, call types and even usage such as TXT voting. Any call falling within rules is authorised with no need for human intervention. If usage falls outside the approved type, they are flagged to be approved by the authorising manager.
Coding Module –on top of the standard module you can add the Coding module which allows you to code usage to cost centres or GL codes.
ERP System transfer –billing information within spendManager can be easily transferred to ERP systems in two ways; ERP interface – building an extract mapped to an ERP system. This extract can be run by the administrator on demand and uploaded into ERP via a journal upload ERP integration – spendManager can be fully integrated with an ERP system. Any coding completed in spendManager is automatically transferred into the ERP system
Immediate benefits of implementing the Vodafone spendManager system include greater control and visibility of mobile phone spend, significant reduction in administrative costs as a result of streamlining approval processes, adherence to corporate policy via automatic approval rules and ultimately greater financial transparency through back-end ERP systems.
“Vodafone is leading the way in m-commerce and spendManager highlights our commitment to making a difference for New Zealand businesses looking to work smarter and become more efficient,” says Shalfoon.
