2006 – what a year it was!
2006 – what a year it was!
During 2006 the Marketing Association had 5 298 marketers attending their events nationwide.
One of the major reasons for the existence of the Marketing Association is to ensure provide education and networking opportunities for our members and the marketing community at large.
The Association ran 60 events around the country featuring 8 international speakers – 3 from the States, 1 from the UK, 1 from Austria and 3 from Australia.
70% of all delegates were members of the Marketing Association and the average rating given was 4.12 out of 5, a good indication that members are satisfied that the topics are relevant and well delivered in a well structured and informative manner.
The calendar of events included Brainy Breakfasts for the e-marketing fraternity, regional lunches, seminars, workshops and the prestigious Direct Marketing Awards, including the New Zealand Post RSVP Awards, the New Zealand Post RSVP Craft Awards and the NEXUS Awards, proudly sponsored by ORACLE.
2007 will see a
continuation of these successful nationwide events.
