Directors Elected to Meat & Wool New Zealand Board
Ron Frew has been elected as the Director to represent the Western North Island District of Meat & Wool New Zealand and David Douglas has been re-elected as the Central South Island Director.
The results follow the voting by livestock farmers in these areas and were released by Returning Officer Warwick Lampp from Electionz.com.
The voting results were:-
Western North Island Electoral District
AUSTIN, Jeremy 4,513
FREW, Ron 14,409
The return percentage for the Western North Island Election was 29.13%. This represents 53% of the sheep and beef industry in the district.
Central South Island Electoral District
AITKEN, Marianne 5,507
