and Hospitality division
Auckland’s leading real estate company, Barfoot & Thompson, has introduced a new specialist Tourism and Hospitality division to its overall commercial property service.
Barfoot & Thompson Commercial now has a three member team focusing on the sale and lease of freehold going concerns such as restaurants, hotels, motels, B&B's and resorts.
Barfoot & Thompson City Commercial Manager John Urlich says the new Tourism and Hospitality team brings valuable knowledge and experience to the company’s overall commercial property service, complementing the team’s already strong presence in the commercial property industry.
The new Tourism and Hospitality team comprises Paul Gilberd, Steve Gilberd and Mark Stevens who, between them, have more than 50 years experience in selling, owning and operating restaurants, pubs and hotels. They have extensive national and international networks and a strong client database.
Paul Gilberd – more than 15 years experience in tourism and hospitality, specialises in preparing owners to maximise their return.
Steve Gilberd, - has owned and operated a number of prestigious tourism and hospitality businesses, specialises in the sale of hotels, motels and taverns across the North Island.
Mark Stevens – eight years experience in the commercial property industry coupled with 15 years hands-on experience as a hospitality business owner/operator. Has an enviable sales record, lists and sells nationwide.
