Action pays off for Group thanks to media pressure

Action pays off for Australian Action Group thanks to media pressure

Joanna Hewitt, Secretary of The Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has now signed the final Policy Determination on exporting New Zealand apples to Australia.

The document was signed just 24 hours after we cc’d you on an open letter to Joanna asking her to sign the document.

While the powers at be might be today claiming “co-incidence” we know better.

Thank you to those who helped in our action to put pressure on Joanna.

We will keep you up to date with progress – we still have a long way to go before New Zealand apples are exported to Australia.
