If you’ve never seen a pomegranate, let alone tasted one, you’re in for a treat with the release of the first Pomegranate juice available in New Zealand from Nekta Products. The interest in Pomegranate Juice has arisen because it has been shown to have a higher anti oxidant content than the other high level drinks such as blueberry, green tea and red wine. Pomegranate’s anti oxidants are also believed to be more active, producing very beneficial results in testing on a range of modern ailments, including the oxidation and retention of LDL Cholesterol and the significant delaying of recurrent prostate cancer in men who have been treated. Research is now also focusing on its potential to inhibit Alzheimer’s, and to alleviate arthritis - an ancient remedy for the ailments of modern life.

As always the Autumn Home Show features a huge range of exhibitors, including bathrooms, kitchens, furniture home heating and large appliances to upgrade your home of-the-present to a contemporary, luxury showhome.

Not to forget the kitchen and bathroom, Mitre 10 is central to the DIY section at the show, presenting a huge range of products, including flat pack kitchens and flooring and an extensive range of appliances and bathroom products, such as showers, baths, vanities, tapware - even portable spa pools for those long winter nights.
