Wellnomics ramps up management to take on the world

Media release - 8 May 2007, Wellnomics Ltd, Christchurch, New Zealand: Christchurch based ergonomic software developer Wellnomics® Ltd has announced the appointment of key members of its management team to support the company's expansion into new markets for the Wellnomics Risk Management suite of software.

The company will be headed by Sue Brown as the new general manager. Brown has spent the last 16 years at fertiliser company Ravensdown, most recently establishing the Customer Centre from an initial pilot to a team of 40 servicing more than 40,000 customers. She holds an MBA from Massey University.

International sales director Alan Vickers has relocated to Amsterdam to commence his new position opening the new Wellnomics Netherlands office. Vickers has extensive experience in the European market from his former position at Whisper Tech where he was responsible for sales and distribution of the WhisperGen into Western Europe. Prior to that, Alan was General Manager of another Orion owned company, TransFlux Ltd, which manufactured and exported a patented heating system used in the food industry and for commercial building heating.

Wellnomics' new marketing director, UK born Ali Wilkinson arrived in New Zealand in 2002 from Singapore where she was AXA's Insurance Health Development Manager covering the Asia-Pacific Region. Prior to joining Wellnomics she worked at Southern Cross as general manager products and was responsible for the launch of the Wellbeing Plan, product management and new product development.

The fourth and most recent addition to the management team is Trevor Foster, general manager of Adilam Electronics' New Zealand branch for 10 years and prior to that, sales manager with multinational semiconductor distributor Avnet. Trevor joins Wellnomics as international sales director based in Christchurch but focusing on new vertical markets in North America, targeting some of the world's largest employers. Born in Zimbabwe, Foster launched and ran a successful African trading business from a base in South Africa, before moving to New Zealand in 1994.
