Actionmail Offers Clients
Certified Data Accuracy
Auckland mail house Actionmail
has signed a deal with data quality software company,
Mastersoft that will enable Actionmail clients to continue
claiming
Each year New Zealand businesses collectively
squander $600 million on 20 million pieces of incorrectly
addressed mail that never get delivered.
From next year New Zealand Post will require all companies to have their customer address databases certified with an accuracy statement to be eligible to continue claiming their bulk mail discounts.
Peter Hicks, the New Zealand country manager for Mastersoft, a New Zealand Post SendRight Address Accuracy partner, said mail houses could potentially go out of business unless they complied with the new postal requirement.
"Actionmail is the first mail house to become compliant and now has a competitive advantage over its rivals," Mr Hicks said. "We completed an analysis of Actionmail's current processes and created a cost-effective package that matched their immediate needs."
Brenden Rolston, CEO of Actionmail, said Mastersoft offered a start to finish package that was an affordable solution and scalable for small to large enterprise. Actionmail is now positioned to offer data cleansing services and deliver their clients Statement of Accuracies for continued maximum postal discounts.
"We recognised the need to upgrade our systems to become postal compliant on behalf of our clients and we have got in ahead of other mail houses with Mastersoft as our partner," Mr Rolston said.
