Business Advice Offered In Nelson

Business Advice Offered In Nelson

Nelson businesses are being offered advice from some proven highfliers in the export sector.

The Nelson Regional EDA is holding a Venture Accelerator Network Export Year seminar called ‘Exporting Essentials for Entrepreneurs’.

VAN Project Developer, Ian Lister says there’s been a lot of interest in the seminar, but there are still a few places available. He says the presenters all have enormous experience in world market places and ‘war stories’ that will entertain and inform.

“The aim is to give entrepreneurs sound practical advice before they break into export markets,” Mr Lister said. “There’s a lot to be learnt from the likes of Matthew Oldham who has been managing director of five Fonterra companies on three continents.”

The other presenters are Ken Stevens, Export Year champion, Executive Chairman of Glidepath and a former finalist Entrepreneur of the Year, and dynamic NMIT marketing lecturer John Inglis.
