New Senior Appointments at Hirepool Reflect Continued Growth

Auckland, 19 June 2007: Hirepool Limited has appointed Christine Donn as Company Accountant, replacing Gordon Peel, who has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Hirepool parent company Rakino Group.

Donn is a qualified chartered accountant who was previously Corporate Accountant for Energex.

She has worked in a wide range of roles including a period as Assistant Accountant at Projex, providing her with rental industry experience that she says “will be invaluable in adapting to this new role.”
In her new role she assumes the majority of financial functions within the broader Hirepool Company including Hirepool Energy and Henderson Rentals.

Meanwhile, Peel as Rakino Group Chief Financial Officer, will be able to concentrate fully on Rakino Group’s financial governance and strategic planning to enable continued growth.

Managing Director, Tenby Powell says, “These appointments demonstrate the phenomenal growth of Hirepool and the other companies under the Rakino Group umbrella. I have every confidence that both Christine and Gordon will excel in these new positions.”
