Foodstuffs appeals Commerce Commission decision
Foodstuffs appeals Commerce Commission decision
Foodstuffs New Zealand has confirmed it has lodged a High Court appeal against the Commerce Commission's decision to decline its application for clearance to acquire up to 100 percent of The Warehouse.
Managing Director of Foodstuffs NZ Limited Tony Carter, says an appeal is consistent with the organisation's previously stated position that it wanted to keep all options open.
He says the timing of the decision to appeal was based on legal advice.
