Popular vehicle classifieds website releases another industry first
The popular vehicle classifieds website www.autobase.co.nz has just released another feature that continues to increase the consumer experience when looking online to purchase a vehicle.
AutoBase has combined the vehicles in their dealer-only wholesale marketplace www.autobasewholesale.co.nz to allow consumers to access over 6000 wholesale vehicles from multiple New Zealand based importers.
Consumers can enquire on the wholesale vehicles through any one of over 800 retail dealers participating.
With over 40,000 retail vehicles, and now access to 6000 wholesale, this makes www.autobase.co.nz the largest vehicle classifieds website in New Zealand.
The addition of wholesale vehicles comes only a month after another industry first released by AutoBase Ltd.
www.autobase.co.nz is the first vehicle classifieds website in New Zealand to allow the general public to write reviews and rate used vehicles they’ve owned. This allows other consumers to read reviews from real people about everyday vehicles.
AutoBase identified that while ‘New Vehicle’ reviews are common place on automotive sites, the vast majority of New Zealanders buy used vehicles, and a review of a new vehicle years after its release is of little value.
``If you’re looking for a 1998 Toyota Camry, you don’t care what it was like NEW in 1998, you care what it’s going to be like after 9 years of use,’’ says AutoBase Ltd Marketing Manager, Dan Angland.
