AA Celebrates 10,000,000 Driver Licensing Transactions
The AA celebrated its 10,000,000th driver licensing transaction at 11am this morning.
Edward Halleron arrived at his local AA Centre on Albert Street in Auckland City to convert his United Kingdom drivers licence to a New Zealand licence and was completely surprised by what greeted him.
David McLister, the AA’s General Manager of Driver and Vehicle Licensing congratulated Edward and presented him with both a gift voucher to attend the AA’s new defensive driving course for experienced drivers and complimentary AA Membership.
“Ten million driver licensing transactions is an outstanding achievement for the AA. We have a very comprehensive network of AA Centres and driver and vehicles agencies in 100 locations throughout New Zealand, plus three mobile operations to reach Kiwis in the more remote areas,” says David McLister.
“Not so well known is the fact that the AA offers the full range of motor licensing services for motorists, including Rego’s (relicensing), change of ownerships and registering new vehicles.
The AA has processed driver licensing transactions on behalf of Land Transport New Zealand since May 1999 and processes 80% of all New Zealand driver licensing transactions.
