Sitel is New Zealand’s best Contact
Centre
Sitel New Zealand was named Contact Centre of the Year (76+ seats) and Sitel’s Jason Strangwick won Contact Centre Manager of the Year (76+ seats) at the 2007 Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand (TUANZ) Contact Centre Awards ceremony, held on the 28th June at the Sky City Convention Centre in Auckland.
Sitel is a world leader in contact centre services and its site in Hamilton provides customer care, billing and credit services on behalf of Genesis Energy. Sitel New Zealand has been providing contact centre services to Genesis Energy since 2001.
Genesis Energy Customer Operations Manager Trevor Starr said Genesis Energy congratulates Sitel and is proud that they received the awards. “Sitel has worked in close partnership with us to ensure that Genesis Energy becomes a leading customer driven organisation, and the awards clearly recognise this”, Mr Starr said.
The judges noted that customer satisfaction and focus on this is the driving force at Sitel. This was clearly evident in every facet of the business the judges considered, and set Sitel apart from the other entrants.
The TUANZ Contact Centre Conference & Awards is New Zealand's premier event for Contact Centre professionals. The Awards programme recognises and rewards the fabulous work of Contact Centre Teams, Managers, Team Leaders, Trainers and Workforce Managers.
