The Chamber is one of 100 exhibitors at the expo and CEO Charles Finny was also at the expo for the celebration. Many of the expo exhibitors are already among the 1200 members belonging to the Chamber.

Keynote speakers at The National Bank Seminar Series today included Export NZ President Jon Mayson and Export Champion Ken Stevens will kick off the late night session at 5pm. The 40-speaker series runs for the duration of the expo.

Exhibitor awards were presented last night with Sirdar Group taking out the Most Interactive award; Best Corporate site went to State Insurance; Best small site, Nexus Data and Most Inviting Site Business Concept Lab (NZ Post).

"We are delighted by the numbers of people attending and that so many are commenting on the high quality of the exhibits and the useful information they are getting at exhibitor stands, " Small Business Expo organiser Sarah Trotman says. "And it's not just Wellingtonians who have embraced the expo; visitors have been coming from throughout the central North Island with many making this a special trip just for the expo."
