Spotless’ Operational Strength Brings Union to
Bargaining Table
Spotless’ operational strength has been a key factor in the Union calling off its strikes and agreeing to begin bargaining.
“It is a massive tribute to Spotless’operational strength and the hard work of the covering staff that has the Union now prepared to come to the table,” said Mark Russell, General Manager Spotless Healthcare.
“9 days of strikes, disruptive strike tactics coupled with the SFWU’s web of political and Union networks, failed to disrupt any of Spotless’ service delivery across 17 hospitals. That’s just remarkable,” said Russell.
At the Union’s request, the terms of the agreement reached as a pre-condition for bargaining remain confidential.
