Vodafone selects Spark Activate
Vodafone selects Spark Activate to make Marcomms shine
After a thorough pitch process, Vodafone has selected Spark Activate as its marketing communications public relations agency.
The selection process provided Vodafone the opportunity to test the best marketing communications PR minds in the sector that could most effectively meet its integrated brand and communications needs.
"Marcomms PR is a critical part of our communications mix moving forward and as such we took our time finding the right agency. It was crucial that the agency selected could work in concert with our other agencies as well as providing the perfect creative and cultural fit for Vodafone. Spark Activate fitted the bill perfectly and we're pleased to be welcoming them to the wider Vodafone agency family," says Vodafone GM of Brand, Craig Herbison.
The broader Spark group of companies has a long standing relationship with Vodafone. Spark PHD has been Vodafone's media agency of record for eight years.
"We are very proud to have won the most coveted account in the business," says Anathea Ruys, MD of Spark Activate. "We are looking forward to working with the Vodafone team and delivering great quality work."
This announcement comes on the back of the appointment of Colenso BBDO as Vodafone's advertising agency, Colenso 99 as its retail agency and Aim Proximity its direct marketing partner.
"This appointment completes our agency review and with a big year ahead, we're delighted to have the best teams in place," says Herbison.
