Regional and national tributes to Sir Angus Tait
Business organisation leaders nationally and in Canterbury have paid tribute to Sir Angus Tait.
Phil O'Reilly, Business NZ Chief Executive and Peter Townsend, Chief Executive of the Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce today said Sir Angus had made a huge contribution to Canterbury and New Zealand business.
Mr Townsend said Sir Angus, the founder of Tait Electronics, had blazed a trail in technological innovation and his loss would be keenly felt.
Mr O'Reilly said Sir Angus was an icon and a model for New Zealand's future business leaders.
"Sir Angus was committed to New Zealand's success and leaves a powerful legacy."
