Merger Makes For A Perfect Fit

Auckland, New Zealand 5 September 2007 - Departing Fullbright Scholar Alex Dunayev has found the perfect fit for his award-winning company AXI Web Solutions in an exciting merger with Sandfield Associates Limited.

A developer of web-based solutions, AXI has amassed an impressive portfolio of clients in the 3 years the company has been operating. Alex Dunayev and his team at AXI have created a business focused around helping their clients improve their own business through technology.

Their new partner, Sandfield Associates Limited, is a New Zealand-owned and operated software development company with extensive experience in providing tailored business solutions across a variety of industries.

Finding a company with a similar philosophy and values was key. If a merger was going to happen, it was important that we shared similar values, said Dunayev. Finding that Sandfield Associates was committed to their staff, and to creating a positive business impact for their customers was a big plus. Knowing that our staff could immediately walk into roles within Sandfield and give our clients continuity with their business was also very compelling.

The companies also share a vision for helping the Not-For-Profit sector. Both have provided IT support to winners of the Computerworld Award for Excellence in the use of ICT for a Not-for-Profit Organisation AXI in 2006 with St Johns and Sandfield in 2007 with The Louise Perkins Foundation.
