New Customer Intelligence appointment by SAS Institute
SAS, the leader in Business Intelligence, has announced the appointment of Prakash Kuttikatt as General Manager, Customer Intelligence & Retail, for Australia and New Zealand.
He is based in Sydney and will drive the continuing adoption of SAS Customer Intelligence and Retail solutions by organisations seeking to gain from a better understanding of their customers, and of rapidly changing market conditions. He reports to SAS Institute Australia Business Solutions & Services Director, David Bowie.
Prakash Kuttikatt comes to SAS as an established practitioner in analytical customer relationship management, following 15 years experience with leading financial institutions and telecommunications carriers in Sydney and Perth
His most recent previous role was Head of Customer Knowledge at Hutchison Telecoms. Earlier, he held similar positions with QBE Insurance, Sing Tel Optus, Westpac and Challenge Bank.
Announcing the appointment, David Bowie noted, "Prakash brings to SAS a valuable mix of marketing campaign experience in both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer environments, together with related expertise in analytics and data management, warehousing and business transformation".
Prakash Kuttikatt earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Business (Distinction) from Curtin University of Technology in Perth and a BSc and MBA from Kerala University and Cochin University of Science & Technology, respectively, in India.
He is a seasoned public speaker and has addressed management and technical conferences in the United States, Korea, Japan, China and India - as well as Australia.
