NZ’s Largest Wedding Expo Company Comes to Akld

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Zealand’s Largest Wedding Expo Company Comes to Auckland

Date: 18 September 2007
Press Release: Premier Wedding Expo

The Premier Wedding Expo Ltd is less than two years old but is already the largest wedding expo company in New Zealand and is coming to Auckland this Sunday the 23rd September.

What started as a small Nelson business run from the spare bedroom of Director and Owner KC Cox’s house, is reaching new heights. Having already taken on Nelson, Auckland, plus two shows in Auckland one in April and one this Sunday at the ASB Showgrounds.

The quick growth in the Premier Wedding Expo can be somewhat attributed to the nature of expos in general. As Cox recognises it is a chance for small businesses to get thousands of customers in one day compared to what can be a usually modest amount.

“Every year our aim is to improve on the previous year and this is why we believe more and more wedding professionals are switching to Premier Wedding Expos. We are proud of our personalised service and fresh approach. I believe that it is important to work with our exhibitors because we want their business to succeed!”

Cox has a vast background in the wedding industry from his early days as a DJ at weddings to his development of the successful website NZ Wedding Planner. Cox, a previous exhibitor himself, is taking a radical approach towards his clients suggesting they should take the lead in choosing what they want from the expo.

“An Expo should be about working with the exhibitors rather than simply telling them what to do.”

“Having been a previous exhibitor in over 10 shows a year, we can empathise and recognise that the Expo has to be a win/win situation; it has to be a win for the brides and the exhibitors”

Statistics New Zealand recorded 20,500 legal marriages in New Zealand in 2005 from the last census. Over 2500 actual brides were present at last years Nelson and Auckland shows and Cox expects at least 800 actual brides through the door for the September Show that is on this Sunday at the ASB Showgrounds.

Each of these brides will receive a complimentary glass of bubbly from Verde Méthode Traditionnelle, a day full of live music, fashon parades and the answers to all their pre-wedding woes. With such a large number of potential customers for exhibitors this is a god send for many brides.

The Auckland Premier Wedding Expo will be held this Sunday 23 September 2007 at the ASB Showgrounds from 9am – 4pm. Door sales $15.
