Alexandra Company Launches Luxury Merino T-Shirt Line In US And Online Retail Store In New Zealand

ALEXANDRA, September 25, 2007 – Alexandra-based tika limited announces that their line of luxury t-shirts made from high quality New Zealand merino recently launched in the United States at the MAGIC Marketplace in Las Vegas, Nevada. MAGIC is one of the largest fashion trade shows in the United States and is held two times per year in Las Vegas.

tika merino t-shirts, featured in the recent retail parade at the Wool On Awards in Alexandra, are now also available to New Zealand customers through direct purchase online at http://www.tika.tv.

“We were thrilled with the retail response to our line of 100% merino t-shirts designed and manufactured in New Zealand,” said Barbara Anderson, Managing Director of tika. “We came back from Las Vegas and immediately went into production to fill holiday orders for U.S. retail stores. Local demand for tika merino t-shirts also led us to launch an online retail store specifically for New Zealand customers.”

tika merino t-shirts are soft, breathable, and suitable for wear in cool and warm climates. tika combines merino functionality with updated styling that easily transitions from work to play.
