PMP secures rights to world’s leading digital publishing platform

The world’s leading digital publishing platform, ZINIO, has awarded exclusive rights in New Zealand and Australia to PMP.

ZINIO is an internationally successful digital publishing platform and distributor of magazines and books. ZINIO sells more than 400,000 digital products and delivers over 18 million issues annually for its growing base of 3.5 million readers world-wide on behalf of hundreds of publishers.

ZINIO online delivery takes the world of paper-based publishing and transforms it into an environmentally friendly growth opportunity for publishers and advertisers.  Digital editions can be read online or offline and seamlessly incorporate rich media interactivity including video, flash and audio.

PMP NZ CEO Rodger Shepherd says “We have seen a growing requirement from New Zealand Publishers to produce digital versions of magazines and hence we are delighted to be able to now offer ZINIO to our customers. I believe that ZINIO is a logical fit with our magazine distribution and print business investments in New Zealand and Australia and adds significant value to our vision as a complete publishing solutions provider.”

“We have done considerable research into the various digital publishing options and firmly believe ZINIO is the best.  It is great to be involved with the world leader.”

ZINIO has previously been available in New Zealand under trial, but PMP has now signed an exclusive 10 year deal for the New Zealand and Australian rights.
