Methven Top Choice With Trade
Methven Top Choice With Trade
Auckland 05 November 2007. New Zealand’s leading manufacturer and marketer of innovative tapware and showers, Methven has been awarded Top Supplier at the recent Plumbing Distributors Association of New Zealand (PDANZ) awards. The top accolade marks the third consecutive year for Methven as the supplier of choice to the New Zealand plumbing trade as voted by merchants and plumbers throughout the country.
The event held in Auckland also saw Methven scooping top prize for the second year in a row for the Satinjet shower. The accolades did not stop just with the product. Methven sales representative Evan Brookie was named a finalist in the highly competitive ‘Top Sales Representative Category’ – an award which Methven had previously won twice and was runner up with Julie Dowling last year.
Methven National Sales Manager, John Doherty says “this recognition means a lot to the entire company, particularly in the top supplier category where the company is judged on every facet of its service and product delivery to the trade. This includes everything from service representation, call centre support, service back up for products, delivery times and product availability.” John says that the accolades are an “enormous mark of respect from the industry and an enormous motivator to keep improving across all areas of the organisation.”
The award marks the end of a highly successful year for Methven in their trade relations where they have topped an independent poll of plumbing suppliers and were earlier in the year awarded top supplier by major national merchant group, Plumbing World.
