Masthead Questions Information on Competing Bidders for Abano
9 November 2007 –
Masthead Portfolios said today that the Abano AGM had not
provided the expected update it was looking
for.
Masthead’s Mark Stewart commented: “We went to this meeting expecting to find out more about the status of the competing bidders that shareholders were looking for or at the very least some indication as to the likelihood and timing of when we could expect an offer. Shareholders got no such update. The due diligence process has been going on now for nearly two months and a bidder has yet to emerge. Masthead remains the only party that has put cash on the table.”
