Rakino Group Announces New Senior Appointment at Hirepool
Auckland, 15 November 2007: Leading New Zealand industrial services and distribution operator, Rakino Group, has appointed Garth Cunningham to manage the new Hirepool branch in Whakatane.
Cunningham, previously Branch Manager at Hirequip Kawerau, has a wealth of experience having spent 23 years in the hire industry. Before Hirequip, Cunningham spent seven years at Projex under Rakino CEO Tenby Powell.
According to Cunningham, the culture at Hirepool attracted him to take up the position. “I decided that I needed a culture change, so I was excited to step into this role in a new environment,” he says.
Hirepool recently acquired East Bay Hire in Whakatane and Cunningham aims to build on its loyal customer base and “provide all of our customers – new and existing – with the Hirepool experience.”
Tenby Powell, Chief Executive of Rakino Group says, “I am thrilled to welcome Garth onboard the Hirepool team. Having worked with him previously, I have full confidence in his abilities and know he will be an asset to the company.”
