Goughs announce new CEO Equipment Group

Goughs has appointed Andrew Green as Chief Executive Officer – Equipment Group after an extensive worldwide recruitment process.

The Equipment Group comprises several divisions; Caterpillar Business Unit, Goughs Forklifts, Goughs Engineering and The Cat Rental Store.  
 
Mr Green has been with Goughs at its Christchurch head office for more than 10 years in the capacity of General Manager – Caterpillar and, for the last four months, has been Acting CEO - Equipment Group.
 
He has extensive experience in the Caterpillar dealer business, having spent 15 years with an Australian Cat dealer prior to joining Goughs in 1998. His time in Australia was spent in both operational and management positions where he developed his key values of excellent communication, top customer service and staff empowerment.   
 
Mr Green says, “I am proud to be given the opportunity to lead the Equipment Group as CEO. For 75 years Goughs has played an important role in shaping New Zealand and I’m looking forward to working with our major stakeholders to meet the challenges of the future.”
 
“Goughs’ success over many years has stemmed from its relationships and its traditional values of honesty and integrity in our dealings with our customers and staff. These are values I will work to see maintained as I am committed to ensure that we deliver the industry’s best service to our customers.”
