Local Action + Global Thinking Secures IBM Award
SSi triumphs in 2007 IBM Business Partner Awards with computer system for global wool traders
23 November 2007. Christchurch, New Zealand. - International technology giant IBM have recognised SSi as the best Non-IBM Reseller in New Zealand for 2007.
"SSi is honoured to be acknowledged in this way by a company like IBM, but the credit really goes to our client, international wool suppliers H Dawson," says Kerry Glynn, SSi's Sales and Marketing Director.
The award was specifically for a system built for H Dawson, headquartered in the UK with offices around the world including New Zealand.
Successful award winners are chosen for the level of customer satisfaction they deliver, specialist market knowledge they have applied to the solution and their technical capability.
"We initially began working on the system with the New Zealand subsidiary of H Dawson but now it is being rolled out through their global organisation," says Kerry.
"With this system H Dawson is showing the lead for the international wool industry and as the system continues to be used by their other offices it will give them access to the information that enhances their ability to manage a complex and dynamic business."
