BLIS Technologies Ltd Rights Issue

BLIS Technologies Ltd (NZX: BLT), developers and manufacturers of advanced oral probiotics, announced today that the company had raised $1.36 million from its recently conducted rights issue. The company is also in discussion with interested parties to take up further shares.

The CEO, Dr Barry Richardson said that Blis was pleased with the outcome of the rights issue and given the interest from other parties BLIS expects to issue more shares over the coming weeks. Dr Richardson also indicated that discussions with current and potential commercial partners are ongoing with a view to further strengthening strategic partnerships in the market.

BLIS Technologies Ltd plans on using the funds raised through the rights issue to consolidate and further expand its product range, improve its facilities and further pursue the commercialisation of its products in selected international markets.
