GoGunter goes global!
Press release
Immediate release 8 February

Are you a Gunter?
GoGunter goes
global!
GoGunter.com is a kiwi learning to fly – a fantastic new website packed with travel and immigration advice on Planet Earth.
The inspiration for the Gunter concept is Gunter Ernst – father of PAEN director Andreas Ernst. This loving father and granddad helped his son travel the World and settle in amazing places. So we’ve taken the helpful Gunter concept a step further, with Gunters now all over the World!
You can read the advice of your fellow Gunters from around the globe, and also become a Gunter yourself, signing up to input your own stories, pictures and videos on the places you love!
The site is growing
organically every day, with members signing up regularly and
28,000 page views per day. There is now a fantastic array of
content on the site – from the best cafes in Auckland, the
best delicatessen in Southern Germany, the nicest weekend
outing in Tulsa, and the most charming historical site in St
Petersburg, right up to the friendliest dentist in Auckland!
Countries and categories are filling quickly as people
from all over the planet put up their favourite destinations
and top tips for settling in.
Based in an office in Auckland city, the GoGunter.com website is the work of the talented bunch of people behind translation agency PAEN Communications Ltd. The Queen Street office houses Argentineans, Germans, Americans and one lone Kiwi – all of whom have great advice to give on travel and settling down in another country. And with a worldwide network of friends and colleagues all sharing advice, pictures and videos, the website was born!
Our first Top Gunter (like Top Gun but without the Raybans) was Michael Ketter of Tulsa (user name ‘Translator’), who won a PAEN MP3 language course and 50 bonus Gunter points. If you’ve ever been curious about the top spots in Tulsa, check out his articles. Michael chose Mandarin Chinese as his free language course, so we can guess where he’s planning to jet off to next!
