Media Release
30 April 2008

TelstraClear makes calling international easy

First TelstraClear abolished regional calling boundaries with Big Back Yard - now they are making it easy for those who love talking to far flung places.

The International Yak Pak 100, launched today, gives customers a huge 100 hours of international calling for only $24.95 per month.

TelstraClear Head of Consumer Markets Steve Jackson says International Yak Pak 100 offers calling at any time of the day or night to 28 destinations around the world.

“With TelstraClear’s Yak Pak 100, you can chat to friends or family for 100 hours, up to three hours at a time, for only $24.95 per month. That’s 6,000 minutes of chatting.”

“For our customers with family spread around the world, including Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia, this calling plan offers worry-free calling - a low, standard charge each month and no bill shock.”

The International Yak Pak 100 plan is available to residential InHome or HomePlan customers.

The 28 destinations include Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States.  For a full list of eligible calling destinations and more information on TelstraClear’s Yak Paks,  go towww.telstraclear.co.nz/go/yakpak100.

TelstraClear’s National Yak Pak 100 offers 100 hours of national calling for $19.95 per month.
