Creative company wins international gold!

A leading New Zealand branding consultancy has won gold on the international stage. Auckland-based Dow Design was awarded gold for Packaging at the 2008 Summit International Creative Awards.

Dow Design won this hotly contested category, which featured entries from advertising companies and creative agencies worldwide, with their design for Barista@Home coffee. Criteria that judges base their decisions on include the strength of the concept, the quality of execution, and ability to communicate and persuade.

Barista@Home, part of the Robert Harris range, was relaunched with a bold new pack in 2007. This creative and stunning red packaging with its sophisticated branding has certainly persuaded many customers here in New Zealand to buy this fantastic range of coffee. Brand owner Cerebos Greggs has been a Dow Design client for over 10 years.

Dow Design Director Annie Dow says “We are delighted to win gold at the Summit International Creative Awards and even more delighted that our designs are helping build category leaders for our clients.”
