Vodafone iPhone Announcement
Vodafone iPhone Announcement
It has been revealed today (5 May 2008) that Vodafone has a 2 year exclusive agreement with Apple® to launch the iPhone® in NZ, Australia, India and various other countries.
The web experience on the iPhone® is unique and over time there will be websites developed that capitalize on that experience in these countries.
After only a few hours listed on Trademe the domain name iphonewebs.com has seen considerable interest.
A spokesman for the vendor, The ValueAdd Company, said that the domain name offered a web-designer with marketing skills huge opportunities, particularly with the sub domain abilities, eg nz.iphonewebs.com, au.iphonewebs.com, etc. This offered the opportunity of participation from like-minded people in other markets creating local content.
There is no obvious iPhone® website directory anywhere around the internet containing the iPhone name so this domain name, in capable hands, has the ability to generate considerable income from vendors of iPhone® products and services and those with websites designed to capitalize on the iPhone web experience.
