Know a company that’s good at heart?

If you know a company which specializes in giving to the local community, the Manukau Community Foundation urges you to nominate that company for a special award at the Westpac Manukau Business Excellence Awards.

Manukau companies are renowned for doing good deeds, says Janis McArdle of the Manukau Community Foundation.

“It may be as simple as supporting your local sports team, or as exceedingly generous as in the case of last year’s recipient, Firmount Golf Park, which provides significant support to an international children’s charity.”

“Whatever the case, it’s important that they are recognized for the great things that they do.”

Any member of the public can make a nomination for the Manukau Community Foundation Contribution to the Community Award by completing a one-page form which is available online at www.bizawards.co.nz or by phoning Enterprising Manukau on 09 262 2244, before 1 July 2008.
