Grandtrek AT3 and Wrangler AT Silent Armor to storm 4x4s
To the front of the line in 4x4 rubber come the Dunlop Grandtrek AT3 and Goodyear Wrangler AT Silent Armor.
Grandtrek AT3 is an eye-catching yet functional evolution from the popular AT2. Square shoulders provide greater off-road traction but the biggest change is in the tread pattern. Dunlop engineers have done a lot of work to develop a design that finds the best 80/20 balance between on and off-road performance.
The new Silent Armor replaces Wrangler AT/R, delivering a major advance in technology. Its design makes extensive use of Kevlar®, a material from DuPont used in bulletproof vests. Not only is it, kilo for kilo, five times stronger than steel, it also soaks up road noise. Coupled with a silica-reinforced Durawall compound in the sidewalls, this is a formidable tyre.
