Crocs Bistro(tm) - a new breed of comfort
Crocs(tm) have created the ultimate shoe for the kitchen that sets a new standard in style, comfort and safety. Endorsed by world class chef and author, Mario Batali, the new Bistro(tm) model is designed especially for those in the food service industry.
"Crocs(tm) is very excited to announce the partnership with celebrity chef Mario Batali and the new Bistro(tm) shoe model," said Ron Snyder, CEO of Crocs(tm). "Mario has been a long time fan and a visible supporter of Crocs shoes, and his endorsement further validates the benefits of Crocs(tm) shoes for the restaurant and food service industry."
Batali, who owns close to 50 pairs of the signature orange Bistro(tm) model, said: "It is not hard to see that I'm a supporter of Crocs(tm), given that I wear them on a daily basis. The new Bistro(tm) model brings functionality for the kitchen to the equation producing a product that I am happy to support."
Bistro(tm)features Crocs(tm) special Lock(tm) tread, which meets industry slip resistance standards and provides increased traction, so no more slipping on greasy kitchen floors! Crocs(tm) Lock(tm) is a unique outsole made from a combination of rubber and Croslite(tm), formed in a special hexagon tread.
Based on the original Crocs(tm) design, Bistro(tm) is a fully enclosed shoe, with a thicker toe area to help protect from kitchen spills. Crocs(tm) unique Italian material Croslite(tm) ensures Bistro(tm) has a custom fit with footbed circulation nubs to ensure all day comfort. Standing in the kitchen all day has never been so easy, as the loose fit of the shoe allows the foot to bend and expand naturally to reduce fatigue.
Available in Mario Batali's signature orange colour, as well as black and red, Bistro(tm) brings fun into your workplace, is easy to clean with soap and water and is certified by US Ergonomics.
