Local publicist joins Internet group to boost SMEs
A Christchurch publicist has teamed up with the
Web Developers Association (WDANZ) to assist local SMEs grow
their businesses.
Director of Seeking Publicity, Peter Burdon will speak nationwide at the free WDANZ Internet Unmasked events, in Christchurch this Thursday, 4th September.
“With the economy on the downturn, it’s important that SMEs use all the marketing tools at their disposal to get through these tough times,” he says.
“I will be showing them how to become their own media publicity officers without having to pay expensive public relations companies to do this work for them.”
Mr Burdon will be presenting alongside IT Entrepreneur and founder of WDANZ, Dennis Smith. He will share his knowledge of the Internet and explain how it can be used to improve the bottom lines of SMEs.
“Small businesses often miss out on these benefits because they lack the expertise. This is why Internet Unmasked was born and we’ve had rave reviews from attendees throughout the country since we launched,” says Mr Smith.
Sponsored by NewsTalkZB, interested parties can register for the September 4 event at www.internetunmasked.com.
