Ferrari California Debuts New Car
FERRARI CALIFORNIA DEBUTS IN … CALIFORNIA
Just days before its public debut at the Paris International Motor Show (2 October 2008), Ferrari has shown its newest model the California to more than 1000 potential owners in its largest potential market – California.
At a private airport in Santa Monica, where the Hollywood stars keep their private jets, the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, sold the very first Ferrari California in a charity auction that raised $520,000 for ‘After School All Stars’ which organises after school activities for disadvantaged children.
Meanwhile, back in Italy the new California was simultaneously presented to European customers, with Michael Schumacher driving the new car into the production facility built to produce it with Ferrari President, Luca di Monezemolo at his side. Also present were Ferrari Formula One drivers, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa
