'Client Choice Award' won for a consecutive year

Simpson Grierson wins prestigious international 'Client Choice Award' for a consecutive year.

Simpson Grierson has been named the New Zealand winner of the International Law Office's fourth annual Client Choice Awards, for the second year running. The International Law office Awards have been set up to "recognise law firms from around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service". This year's winners were chosen from more than 1,500 individual assessments received from corporate counsel in 48 jurisdictions worldwide.

Established in 2005, the awards are the first and only to focus on the full spectrum of client service and customer care, with criteria based on law firms' ability to add real value to their clients' businesses above and beyond the other players in the market.

The winning firms were identified based on an International Law Office subscriber survey of corporate counsel only. Firms were assessed on: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communications, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, depth of team, response time sharing of expertise and use of technology.

The awards research team also conducted interviews and additional research to establish the shortlist.
