The Buy NZ Made campaign
is going strong and is under no threat of closure.
Buy NZ Made Director Marcia Dunnett says there has been confusion between Buy NZ Made and Buy Kiwi Made, the advertising campaign achieved by the Greens in its deal with the former Labour Government, now under review by the National Government.
“Buy NZ Made is a private sector campaign funded by membership and will continue to do its work promoting great New Zealand products.
“The ‘kiwi in the triangle’ will still be found in retail outlets all over New Zealand.
“The 1163 firms that are members of Buy NZ Made continue to gain great value from the campaign.
“Thousands of New Zealand products will continue to carry the Buy NZ Made ‘kiwi in a triangle’ logo.”
